Weed Control
With a range of selective herbicides, we can target a wide variety of lawn weeds and other intrusive weeds. With the use of selective herbicides this ensures the grass is not harmed and only the targeted weed is eradicated. Weed control will be used on each visit to your lawn throughout the year to eliminate every seasonal weed that shows through.

Moss Control
Moss is controlled using a soluble additive which dehydrates and kills the organism within hours. During the wetter winter months and on lawns with bad drainage, moss is particularly evident which is why a moss control is applied whenever it shows through. Moss spreads by releasing spores into the air and can spread at an alarming rate which is why early detection and control is essential.

Fertilisers
A granular slow release fertiliser is carefully applied to your lawn which releases its nutrients over a 10 week period ensuring a beautiful and long lasting green up. Different nutrient levels (NPK) are matched to different seasons in order to provide the correct nutrition at the designated treatment date.

Fungicide & Insecticide
Throughout the year many diseases and infestations may attack your lawn, but with correct identification and remedial fungicide/insecticide application these issues can be repaired within a short period of time. With a wide variety of fungi and insects that invade the lawn each case will be assessed and repaired in a unique way according to the issue present and the condition of the lawn.

Top Dressing
We have the experience and skills necessary to tackle just about every type of job that comes our way. With The Lawn Treatment Specialist, clients know exactly what to expect - professionalism, efficiency and exceptional results.

Top dressing provides a new nutritious layer of top soil and over seeding allows new healthy growth to show through.
the top dressing mixture is designed to benefit the existing top soil whether it be too clay based, sandy or peaty. Once applied the top dressing is spread out evenly with a lawn lute then over-seeded.
Results will be visible within two to three weeks and a new, healthy, nutrient rich lawn will be achieved.

Scarification
Scarifying is the process of raking through the grass, creating slits in the lawn to remove the build up of thatch  and other organic debris like moss and weeds.
It is an important part of dedicated lawn care, as thatch can choke new growth, stealing nutrients and water and gradually undermine the health of a lawn.Â
Thatch is made up of dead and dying grass shoots and is part of the life cycle of a lawn. As the new shoots grow these old shoots drop beneath the surface of the lawn. However, these dead shoots do not decay, due to a polymer present in their molecular make-up. This means they build up and can choke a lawn, which is why scarifying is such an important process.

Aeration
Core aeration is a type of lawn aeration whereby a machine (a lawn aerator) with hollow tines mechanically removes plugs or "cores" of soil and thatch from a lawn. Core aeration reduces soil compaction, creating a channel through which oxygen, water, and nutrients can penetrate into the soil.
